How to fix Windows 10’s Start menu bug


Posted by TechCrunch on February 06, 2018 11:00:00 Windows 10 will soon be getting a refresh to the look and feel of its Start menu, as part of a Windows 10 Insider Preview build.

The upgrade is currently rolling out to Windows Insiders with a build number of 10528, but Microsoft is also offering a few tips to help with the new design.

First, the Start menu will no longer use the same colors as Windows 10 desktop backgrounds.

The Windows 10 design team has done an excellent job at creating a consistent look across all of Windows 10, so you should expect a similar look on the Start screen.

Second, the new Start menu should have a new color scheme that aligns better with the design of the rest of Windows.

The new colors will appear in the top right corner, and will only appear on the right side of the screen.

It will be available on the Creators Update, but it’s not set to roll out to the rest
