The world’s largest cave painting is set to open in China on May 20, according to China Daily.
The painting depicts the human and the animal that once shared a cave, the state-run Global Times newspaper reported.
The artwork will be one of many in the country that are themed after the mythical creatures, according the paper.
The art was created by artists Wang Qiang, Zhe Yu, and Yu Jia, according China Daily, citing the artists’ official website.
The artists’ art is not only a masterpiece of the Chinese imagination, but it also has the potential to inspire young Chinese people, the paper said.
